Backpacking in Vietnam led me to my husband

I was solo backpacking through Southeast Asia. David had posted a route from Hanoi down to Hoi An on MyTripDate. We started chatting about hostels and ended up doing the entire two-week stretch together — overnight buses, scooter rides, lantern festivals. Got married last summer in a small ceremony in Da Nang.
